Overview

Bangladeshi ginger is prized for its strong aroma and high oleoresin content (6–10%), making it ideal for culinary and industrial applications. The main growing regions are Mymensingh, Rangpur, and Sylhet.

Quality Standards

Export-grade ginger should have clean skin, no mold or rot, minimal broken pieces, and moisture below 70%. Foreign matter should be below 1%. Our pre-shipment inspection ensures these standards are met.

Packaging & Loading

Ginger is packed in 10kg mesh bags or 15kg cartons. A 20ft container holds approximately 12 MT. Packaging can be customized to buyer requirements.

Storage & Shelf Life

Fresh ginger should be stored at 13–15°C with 65–70% relative humidity. Under proper storage, shelf life is 30–60 days. For dried ginger, shelf life extends to 12–24 months.
